1、 Purpose of leak detection for "Zijing" brand DOP high-efficiency filter:The filtration efficiency of the high-efficiency filter itself is generally tested by the manufacturer, and a filter filtration efficiency report and a certificate of qualification are attached at the factory. For pharmaceutical companies, high-efficiency filter leak detection refers to on-site leak detection of high-efficiency filters and their systems after installation, mainly checking for small pinholes and other damages in the filter material. The purpose of leak detection is to check the sealing of the high-efficiency filter and its connection with the installation frame, timely discover any deficiencies in the high-efficiency filter itself and during installation, take corresponding remedial measures, and ensure the cleanliness of the area.
2、 The principle of leak detection method for "Zijing" brand DOP high-efficiency filter:The leak detection of high-efficiency filters usually uses a PAO generator to generate dust upstream of the filter, and a photometer to detect the aerosol concentration in the upstream and downstream of the filter to determine whether there is a leak in the filter. When the airflow is pumped into the light scattering chamber by a vacuum pump, the particulate matter in it scatters light to the photomultiplier tube. In a photomultiplier tube, light is converted into an electrical signal, which is amplified and digitized before being analyzed by a microprocessor to determine the intensity of scattered light. By comparing the signal generated with the reference substance, the mass concentration of particulate matter in the gas can be directly measured.
3、 Detection method for "Zijing" brand DOP high-efficiency filter:To determine whether there is obvious leakage in the high-efficiency filter itself and its installation, the following areas must be tested on site: the filter material of the filter; The connection between the filter material of the filter and the interior of its frame; Between the sealing gasket of the filter frame and the support frame of the filter group; Between the support frame and the wall or ceiling. The materials and instruments for DOP leak detection include: dust source (PAO solvent), aerosol generator, and aerosol photometer. Checking a filter takes about 5 minutes. During the testing process, the concentration of upstream aerosols should be regularly confirmed. It is important to wear a protective face mask and goggles during the testing process. 4、 Judgment and processing method for the results of the "Zijing" brand DOP high-efficiency filter:The leakage rate of the high-efficiency filter should be less than or equal to 0.01%. If the% LEAKAGE (leakage rate%) of all HEPA points during the testing process does not exceed 0.01%, the HEPA is considered qualified. If there is a point with a% exceeding 0.01%, it is considered unqualified and the point is marked for repair or replacement.
5、 Leak detection cycle of "Zijing" brand DOP high-efficiency filter:The recommended long interval for leak detection of HEPA installed is 24 months. DOP leak detection should be performed after HEPA installation or replacement. When environmental monitoring shows a deterioration in air quality, or when product sterility testing fails, or when the simulated filling test of the culture medium fails, it can be used as part of the deviation investigation for leak detection.
